How Does Location and Reach Work?
This tracker takes full advantage of Apple's extensive Find My network, which offers a unique advantage over regular Bluetooth trackers:

The AirTrack Mini continuously transmits a secure Bluetooth signal (every two seconds). No SIM card is required for this tracker to work, and there are no monthly fees .

What happens if I'm out of range of the tracker? This tracker has no distance limit and can be located anywhere in the world . This is because the AirTrack Mini's Bluetooth signal is automatically detected and received by all nearby iOS devices (billions of iPhones, iPads, and Macs) that are part of the "Find My" network.

These Apple devices send the detected location (anonymized and encrypted) to Apple iCloud servers. You can then see the exact location of your AirTrack Mini on the map in your own "Find My" app.

The tracking accuracy is high, allowing you to pinpoint its location as long as an iOS device is near the tracker. This makes it an ideal tool for finding items that are far away.

If the tracker is in your immediate vicinity, simply open the Find My app on your iOS device. With a single tap, the tracker will play a 70 dB audible alert , allowing you to quickly locate the object if it's hidden under a pillow or in a bag, for example.
