How Does the PawSafe GPS Tracker Work?
This unique tracker uses GPS satellite positioning directly on the device itself. No SIM card, mobile data, or smartphone app are required to use this tracker. "Real-time tracking" refers to the device's immediate response to the dog's location, not simply tracking on a map.

Autonomous Virtual Fence (Geo-Fence): Set a safe zone directly on the tracker. The PawSafe uses GPS Hidden Fence technology, which sets the fence virtually using satellite positioning. You can set the radius from 30 meters to 1000 meters (equivalent to 33-1000 yards). To set the boundaries of this safe zone, long-press the M button and use the +/- buttons to select the desired distance. A short press of the power button after setting (indicated by a "=" sign) confirms successful location of the zone.

Training without external notifications: When your dog crosses the set boundary of the safe zone, you won't receive a notification on your phone . Instead, the tracker will emit a warning tone and/or a correction (vibration or static shock) to the dog. The idea is to train your dog to respond to these signals so they learn when to leave the safe zone and return on their own. The correction function immediately recognizes when the dog crosses the zone, allowing for effective training.
