Black Friday dog toys 2026

Dog toys for long winter evenings indoors

Dog toys that work indoors come into their own once the evenings draw in and the afternoon walk shrinks to a quick loop round the block. A snuffle mat or puzzle feeder gets your dog using their nose to find a treat, and a good sniffing session can tire a dog out more than you'd expect.

Self-rolling and automatic balls are worth considering for dogs who want to chase when it's far too dark to throw anything in the park. We recommend keeping one back for Christmas Day, so your dog has something new to work on while everyone else sits down to dinner.

Not every indoor favourite will be on offer at the same time. If the one you have in mind isn't in the sale, have a look at our full range of dog toys.

Picking the right Black Friday toys for your dog

Picking the right toys for your dog starts with size, and that matters more than any deal, because a ball that disappears into your dog's mouth can end up somewhere it shouldn't. We recommend choosing a ball or toy that's clearly too big to swallow, which for a large dog usually means skipping the smallest sizes altogether. The sizes are listed on each product page, so it's worth a quick check against your dog before anything goes in the basket.

Strength is the other half of the question. If your dog has the stuffing out of a plush toy within an afternoon, solid rubber balls and chew toys will last a lot longer, while gentle chewers and puppies often prefer something soft to carry around and settle down with.

Toys for high-energy dogs

High-energy dogs, from collies and spaniels to terriers that never seem to switch off, need toys that give them a job to do. A ball launcher saves your arm on long games of fetch, and a herding ball gives working breeds something to push, chase and round up across the garden.

Duke & Scoop is named after two Border Collies, so we know first-hand how quickly a bored working dog finds its own entertainment. That's why toys that let a dog run, chase and think are always the first ones we look for.
