How to clean your pump...
Cleaning is essential for the long life of your fountain pump. Do the following 1-3 times per month, depending on the number of animals using the fountain.
1. Disconnect.
2. Disassemble and rinse the impeller under water.
3. Remove any hair or dirt from the pump.
4. Replace the fan and turn it a few times to adjust the alignment.
5. Reassemble.
