How Do Location Tracking and Range Work?
This tracker uses Bluetooth 5.0 technology and has specific capabilities regarding range and location tracking:

The tracker has a direct Bluetooth range of 15 to 50 meters. This is the distance within which your smartphone can make a direct connection to the tracker.

Within this range, you can use the "one-click item search" function to play an audible alarm on the tracker. This is ideal for finding your keys at home or locating your pet in the immediate vicinity (e.g., in the garden or a fenced park).

Breakpoint Positioning (Last Known Location):

When the tracker goes out of your smartphone's Bluetooth range, the direct connection is lost. The tracker does not have a built-in GPS module or a global network like Apple's "Find My" app.

In this case, the "breakpoint positioning" function activates. This means the "iSearching" app saves the last known location where the tracker was still connected to your phone. So, if you were somewhere and the connection broke (e.g., your wallet fell out of your bag), the app will show you where this happened.
