How does Location and Coverage work (with 2G SIM card)?

This tracker is a full-fledged GPS tracker that uses the 2G (GSM) mobile network .

• 2G Network Required (Nano SIM Card):

  • This tracker requires a nano SIM card (not included) for operation. This SIM card must have an active 2G (GSM) GPRS data plan .

  • Important note: This tracker only works with a 2G GSM network (frequency bands 850/900/1800/1900 MHz) . Always check with your local telecom provider whether 2G GPRS networks are available and active in your area.

  • Not suitable for Australia , as 2G networks may be disabled there.

  • What happens if I'm out of range of the tracker? As long as the tracker is in an area with 2G mobile network coverage , it can send its location in real time to the mobile app on your smartphone. There's no distance limit between you and your pet, as long as both devices are connected to a mobile network. This provides worldwide coverage wherever 2G is available.
